Meet Dr. Leland C Wilhoite DDS

Dr. Leland Wilhoite, a highly skilled and experienced dentist, continued Wilhoite Family Dental in 1996 after Dr. John Wilhoite’s (his father) retirement. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University, Bloomington, Dr. Wilhoite attended Northwestern University Dental School and graduated with a degree in dentistry. He continued his continuing education at the Midwest Implant Institute, where he completed advanced training in implant dentistry. As well as numerous continuing education programs utilizing CEREC and digital dentistry technology. Dr. Wilhoite is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, and the East Central Dental Society, where he served as president and is currently an ECDS delegate.

As a dentist, Dr. Wilhoite is passionate about patient care and education, and he enjoys staying up to date on the latest procedures and technologies to provide his patients with the best possible care. He values the personal relationships he has with his patients and finds great satisfaction in helping them achieve optimal oral health and a confident, beautiful smile.

Dr. Wilhoite comes from a family of dentists, with his father serving as a strong influence on his decision to pursue a career in dentistry. A lifelong resident of the Delaware County community, Dr. Wilhoite appreciates the quality of life the area has to offer and is proud to be involved in his community and raise his family there.

When not working, Dr. Wilhoite enjoys a variety of activities, including swimming, biking, hiking, and golf. He also enjoys watching sports, reading, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Mary, their children, Sarah, Thomas, and Lucy, and their three dogs, Mirabel, Sweetie, and Hugo.
